Two words that bring joy to every student...and every teacher: Spring Break.
I am excited to travel to see my sister and my niece this vacation, as well as using it to catch up on grading I have procrastinated on. Every report card season sees me making the same promises, that ultimately are empty. But this time....this time I think it will be different. I learn every year how to be a better teacher, and I know that timely grading, and better organization, will help me.
Spring Break is also a time of reflection and renewal. I look forward to this process, like a tree putting forth new buds that will soon become leaves.
