It's April 1st. I've never been one for pranks and practical jokes, so you'll find no such thing on this blog. But I am thinking of changing things, wondering if I should make a move. What's got me wondering this? A visit with my sister, and my little niece. A 4% pay-cut looming in the fall. Itchy feet because I've been in this area nine and a half years now, close to as long as I've ever lived any place.
I've things to think about. But I have commitments here first. I must finish out the school year. And if I want to make a move, I need to save for it and plan for it, more than I did when I moved here. I've created a poll, if anyone wants to vote. Help me to decide what to do. It's always nice to have something to plan, something to look forward to, even as I know the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
Isn't CA a dead-end as far as teaching jobs go?
