A Long Week

It's actually been two long weeks since I last blogged...or is it three?  I've been overwhelmed with things at work but I see the light at the end of the tunnel, and no, it's not a train.

I've taken on many different responsibilities, and so far, I've been handling them (fairly) well.  I'm happy to report that one responsibility, after-school tutoring, is now over, which gives me more time.

There will most likely be a pay-cut in my future, due to the state's financial situation.  I'm trying not to stress about it until I know how much will be cut, and I do already have some thoughts of where I could trim some excesses from my budget, but it's still disheartening to think about making less than I do right now.

I guess this isn't an interesting blog post, blame my tired brain, but I wanted to post after missing last week's.

April Fool

It's April 1st.  I've never been one for pranks and practical jokes, so you'll find no such thing on this blog.  But I am thinking of changing things, wondering if I should make a move.  What's got me wondering this?  A visit with my sister, and my little niece.  A 4% pay-cut looming in the fall. Itchy feet because I've been in this area nine and a half years now, close to as long as I've ever lived any place. 
I've things to think about.  But I have commitments here first.  I must finish out the school year. And if I want to make a move, I need to save for it and plan for it, more than I did when I moved here.  I've created a poll, if anyone wants to vote.   Help me to decide what to do.  It's always nice to have something to plan, something to look forward to, even as I know the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
