Working for the Weekend

I love my job.  Other than being an award-winning actress, or wealthy lady of leisure, I can't imagine a job I want more.  But there are moments, and sometimes whole days, where I don't like my job. This week, it's felt like I've been fighting a losing battle to get the students to learn, to get them motivated, to get them to be respectful.  And that's not a nice feeling.  I know I'm still in the process of getting the students in the routine of school.  I know I'm still adding content to what I'm teaching throughout the day, so the days are not full.  I know I'm still learning what I need to be doing.  But I don't like all those feelings.  Tomorrow is Friday. And I am very thankful for it.  I'm looking forward to getting caught up, looking forward to getting my room set up the way I want, getting things into place so I feel better.  So, here's to working for the weekend.
